After a brief cold snap, milder air has arrived. Temperatures were about 10 to 20 degrees warmer than Saturday across the region. Highs reached the mid-40s Sunday afternoon, and it is expected to get even milder over the next couple of days.
For Sunday night, expect lows in the 30s under a mostly clear sky. Then sunshine returns for Presidents Day along with highs in the upper 40s. However, anticipate increasing clouds Monday night with overnight lows mainly above freezing.
It will be a cloudy start on Tuesday followed by afternoon rain. A southerly flow will allow temperatures to top out in the low 50s.
Once the rain moves out, colder air will take over for the rest of the week with temperatures rebounding into the 40s and 50s over the weekend.
