NEW YORK — Look for overcast skies Friday night along with spotty showers and areas of fog. Lows will be around 60 degrees.
Expect the clouds and raindrops to stay in place for Saturday. Most of the area will see a quarter-inch to a half-inch of rain. Highs will be near 66 degrees.
We'll then dry-out on Sunday as the sunshine returns and temperatures increase slightly. Expect a high of 68.
Memorial Day is looking partly sunny and seasonable with temperatures around 71.
Expect more sunshine and warmer temperatures on Tuesday. Highs will reach 77 degrees.
Look for temperatures to increase even further during the second half of the week as some summer-like warmth makes its way into the area. Wednesday's high will be 81 degrees, and Thursday and Friday will be around 83. Conditions should stay on the dry side for Wednesday and Thursday, but there is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm Friday afternoon.
