NEW YORK — The Bills and Jets square off at Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday to open the season for a second straight year in a game pitting Buffalo's Josh Allen against New York's Sam Darnold, two of five quarterbacks selected in the first round of the 2017 draft.

The Bills rallied from a 16-0 deficit to defeat the Jets 17-16 in last year's opener played at the Meadowlands.

Buffalo is coming off its second playoff appearance in three years under coach Sean McDermott.

The Jets are in the midst of a nine-year playoff drought, the second longest in team history.
