NEW YORK — Evictions in New York City fell about 18% in the last six months. This comes after sweeping changes to rent law was passed in June 2019.

Cea Weaver, Director of organizing and campaign manager at Upstate/Downstate Housing Alliance, discusses how the law is helping, what still needs to be done, tenants rights and where to get help if you’re being evicted.
