NEW YORK CITY — Meet Karina Popovich, a Brooklyn STEM student and freshman at Cornell University who is using her 3D printing skills and equipment to help health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Popovich founded 'Makers for COVID-19,' an international group of about 200 people with personal 3D printers who are making over 20,000 PPE items every week.
