TRIBECA — Cult-favorite Bubby’s is known around New York City for its pies, brunch and comfort food.
Chef and owner Ron Silver said the restaurant started about 30 years ago as a pop-up for Thanksgiving pies.
At the time, it was just a small kitchen on the corner of Hudson and Moore streets. The spot ultimately became Bubby’s flagship restaurant in TriBeCa.
Silver has since opened a second location along the High Line, however, the restaurant was forced to shutter due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The TriBeCa location remains open for delivery. For more information, click here.
A GoFundMe was created to raise money for Bubby’s employees who have been out of work because of the pandemic.
