WASHINGTON — Sen. Bernie Sanders beat former Vice President Joe Biden in the Northern Mariana Islands Democratic presidential caucus.
Sanders won four delegates to Biden's two in Saturday's contest.
This shrinks Biden's lead of more than 150 delegates by a bit. It's the first day that Sanders came out the winner since Feb. 22.
Biden had beaten Sanders in South Carolina on Super Tuesday and the March 10 primaries.
The Northern Mariana Islands is a U.S. commonwealth of 14 islands in the Pacific. The party says 134 people caucused on the islands Saturday.
