Paterson mayor talks COVID-19 surge in the city as cases spike across NJ

PATERSON, N.J. — The third largest city in New Jersey is seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases.

Paterson reported almost 300 new cases on Friday as the Garden State hits nearly 4,000 new cases a day.

The city’s mayor, Andre Sayegh, discussed what the city is doing as they brace for a surge and what new restrictions are being considered.
