HARLEM — The Bark Shoppe in Harlem re-opened for business this week to provide no-contact dog grooming to their clients.
They've been closed for two months since the quarantine went into effect.
Now, they've developed a social distancing system where the dogs are dropped off curbside and their grooming tables are decontaminated between every appointment.
Owner Melissa Mitchner spoke to PIX11 Morning News about their new method of dog grooming.
The Bark Shoppe has limited hours, but have been bombarded by the high demand for grooming and will soon launch a mobile grooming service.
The Bark Shoppe is located at 100 St. Nicholas Ave. To make an appointment, call 646-590-1902.
