NEW YORK — Beginning Monday, July 20, John Muller and Vanessa Freeman join the Emmy Award-winning PIX11 Morning News to anchor the broadcast from 4:30 -7am.
The 7am-10am hours of the PIX11 Morning News will continue to be anchored by Betty Nguyen and Dan Mannarino.
Meteorologist Byron Miranda will continue to deliver weather forecasts from 6-10 am and Marissa Torres will continue to provide traffic, as well as deliver weather from 4:30-6 am. Feature reporters Ben Aaron and Marysol Castro will continue on the 9 am newscast.
We spoke with the new Morning News team to get to know them better. Here's what they said.

What's your dream vacation? ✈️ For PIX11's Dan Mannarino, it's going to Italy with his family to see where his grandpa grew up.
What's your favorite NYC-inspired TV show? For Betty Nguyen, it's 'Friends' (could we BE any more excited?!)
What's your favorite spot to get some peace and quiet in NYC? For our John Muller, it's the Central Park duck pond.
What's one organization you think everyone should learn more about? For PIX11's Vanessa Freeman, it's 'Black Girls Code,' an organization that teaches young women and girls about science, technology and engineering.
What can't you wait to do when the city officially reopens? For our Marysol Castro, it's people-watching on any given New York City street.
What's your favorite part of waking up in the morning? PIX11's Ben Aaron says it's waking up and hearing his mini-me's: his two sweet sons, Miles and Adrian!
