NEW YORK — May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Many have reported increased feelings of loneliness during social distancing, so now more than ever, it’s important to take care of our mental wellbeing.

Marysol Castro spoke with Kate Spies, SVP of Content and Growth at Well and Good about what people can do to improve your mental wellness.

Well and Good is hosting a mental wellness challenge, they have simple tips you can do every day to improve your mood:

  • Schedule worry and dream time: Allow yourself to go to a “worry spiral” for a few minutes, then end it and move on. Then later in the day, schedule the same amount for “dream time” to give a balance
  • Make your space more joyful
  • Sign up for a class with a friend
  • Make small wins last
