MANHATTAN, New York — Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams stopped by PIX11 News to talk about his office's response to the coronavirus outbreak as well as an arrest in Canarsie that sparked outrage among the community.
There are five confirmed coronavirus cases in Brooklyn, two of which were announced Monday morning.
"The flow of information is so important. That’s probably one area where we lack in." Adams said of the city's coronavirus response. "We know we have two more cases but the actual individuals and who they are, we don’t have much on that."
Adams is holding an emergency briefing at Brooklyn Borough Hall at 2:30 p.m. to explain what steps the city is taking to mitigate the outbreak.
