Teen shot outside Queens subway station

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens — A 16-year-old boy was shot outside a Far Rockaway subway station on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The victim was shot in the torso around 12:30 p.m. near the Beach 60th Street and Rockaway Freeway stop on the A train, an NYPD spokesman said.

The teen was rushed to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately clear.

No arrests have been made. Police have not yet released a description of the shooter.
