FOREST PARK, Queens — Police are looking for a driver of a vehicle they say drove off after striking a man in Queens early Thursday morning.

According to the NYPD, the 26-year-old man was struck just before 3 a.m. by the intersection of Woodhaven Blvd. and Myrtle Avenue, near Forest Park.

Police said the driver fled the scene after hitting the man.

The victim was unconscious when he was rushed to a local hospital with severe injuries, authorities said.

Officials had no other information on the man's condition, nor a description of the driver or vehicle they are looking for.
