Man killed, another injured in Queens shooting

CORONA, Queens — Two men were shot on a Corona street early Monday, leaving one of the men dead, police said.

Police responding to a call for a man shot on 108th Street just before 4 a.m. found two victims, officials said. A 42-year-old man was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso..

The other victim, 27, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said. He was taken to a local hospital via private means.

Police have not yet released the name of the 42-year-old victim.

No arrests have been made. Police have not shared any surveillance images.
