FLUSHING, Queens — Mayor Bill de Blasio headed to Flushing Thursday amid renewed push to bring business back as coronavirus concerns continue.

Coronavirus fears have been keeping some from visiting, even though there are no confirmed cases of the virus in the city, community members said.

Chen Long, the 32-year-old owner of Heat Noodle, said business is down 60 percent. Long is hoping his customers will come back.

"We are encouraging people to come here to Chinatown, to Sunset Park, to Bensonhurst, to Bay Ridge to show your support," City Council Speaker Corey Johnson said.

Many have canceled reservations at Royal Queen, but Royal Queen President Donnie Zhang is optimistic.

"I think the press conference will help us a lot hopefully so that it will be like before like it has always been," she said.
