SOUTH OZONE PARK, Queens — A 67-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run in Queens on Christmas, sparking a search for the motorist who fled, police said Thursday.
The man was struck around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Rockaway Boulevard and 114th Street in South Ozone Park, police said.
The 67-year-old, identified by police as Ainsley Dalrymple, was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities believe Dalrymple was struck by a silver or gray Toyota pickup truck.
