FRANKLIN, New Jersey — A woman accused of harassing a police officer in New Jersey has been arrested for the second time in two months, authorities said.
Jordanna Capiello initially was charged in February 2019 with aggravated assault after she bit a Franklin Borough police officer, Nicholas Della Fera.
The officer had responded to a call in Franklin about a dispute. While police responded to the complaint, Capiello bit the officer, cops said.
Police took Capiello into custody. However after her release, authorities said she proceeded to harass the officer, both in person and electronically.
Capiello was arrested and charged with harassment in November, but after being released continued contact the officer, officials said.
Police arrested her again Friday night—making it her second arrest in two months.
Capiello remains in police custody, pending formal charges.
