NEW JERSEY — Lawmakers in New Jersey are set to vote on two controversial bills Monday as the state's legislative session comes to a close.

The first bill deals with eliminating religion as a reason for vaccination exemptions for children. If passed, New Jersey would join a handful of states, including New York, doing away with the religious exemption.

The debate and bill come after last year's measles outbreak in the tri-state region.

The second bill deals with a ban on flavored vaping products. The legislation cleared the state Senate and Assembly committees at the State House in Trenton, and now goes for a full House vote Monday.
