A downed tree on railroad tracks west of Newark's Broad Street station is causing havoc with train delays as Friday's evening commute approaches.
High winds toppled the tree onto overhead wires Friday afternoon.
New Jersey Transit says service on the Montclair-to-Boonton line is suspended in both directions, and service on the Morris and Essex and Gladstone Branch lines is operating with 60-minute delays.
Crews are on the scene repairing the wires.
