Man slashed during dispute on train: police

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan — A man was slashed when a fight broke out at a train in Manhattan Monday night, police said.

Two men got into a dispute on a southbound D train around 10:30 p.m.

During the altercation, the victim was slashed in the face, cops said.

He was taken to the hospital to receive stitches to his face.

The other man fled the train at the Columbus Circle subway station.
