HARLEM, Manhattan — Police are looking for a man who robbed three people at gunpoint inside a Harlem nail salon in broad daylight Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
Just before 1 p.m. a masked man walked into Cinderella Beauty and Nail Salon, located at 243 West 125th Street, right next to the famous Apollo Theater, authorities said.
The man pulled out a gun and demanded money from everyone inside the store, police said. Shocking surveillance footage shows the unidentified man pointing the firearm at customers.
Three adults inside the shop, fearing for their safety, gave the man cash, police said.
The armed thief fled the location, making off with just $37, according to officials. Luckily, nobody was injured during the holdup.
The wanted man is described by police as about 55 to 60 years old, standing about 5 feet, 9 inches with a heavy build, and last seen wearing a hooded black winter jacket, dark-colored pants, brown boots, and a ski mask.
