GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan — A 68-year-old woman fell onto subway tracks after she was pushed during a robbery in a Manhattan station, police said Thursday.
The woman was inside of the 14th Street and Sixth Avenue station when a man pushed her, knocking her to the platform, police said. She rolled from the platform onto the track bed.
Officials said man grabbed the woman's phone and left the station.
The woman suffered multiple fractures to her torso. She was hospitalized in serious condition.
Police have asked for help finding the attacker. He's believed to be in his 40s and was last seen wearing all dark clothing.
