LONG ISLAND — A group of teachers at a Long Island school went the extra mile for their graduating students Tuesday — literally.
The Henry Viscardi school teaches children with severe physical disabilities.
Since their students didn't get to have a typical graduation, the teachers decided to give them a special experience.
Staffers hopped on a school bus and traveled over 100 miles to congratulate nine of their seniors.
For the students and their families, it made all the difference.
