BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — An employee at a Brooklyn bodega was shot in the face during a robbery last month, police said.
It happened on Jan. 10 at a bodega on Church Avenue and Rockaway Parkway.
A man entered the bodega and approached the 28-year-old employee, displayed a handgun and demanded money, police said.
The suspect then fired one shot at the victim, striking him above the right eyebrow, according to police.
The victim complied and put an undisclosed amount of cash into a bag.
The worker was taken to the hospital where he was treated for a laceration above his eyebrow, police said.
