BAY RIDGE, Brooklyn — A teenage boy was stabbed near a Bay Ridge church on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
He was attacked near Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church around 2:15 p.m., an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The 16-year-old victim's injury was minor and he is not expected to die, officials said. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said the suspect fled from the scene. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and a black hoodie.
No arrests have been made.
