Man slashed on Brooklyn subway train

BROOKLYN — A broken subway rail in Brooklyn caused extensive delays on several lines Tuesday morning, according to the MTA.

Service on the No. 3 line has resumed after MTA crews fixed the broken rail near the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station.

Subway riders should expect delays on Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines while train congestion clears, according to the MTA.
