BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — **Update: Andre Clark was arrested Sunday, police said, with more information from PIX11 here.

A man is wanted in connection with the rape of an 11-year-old girl in Brooklyn Saturday morning, police said.

The incident took place at 9 a.m. in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, according to the authorities. The man raped the victim inside her residence. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

The individual has been identified as Andre Clarke. He is 45 years old, about 6-feet-3-inches, approximately 275 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, dark blue jeans, an olive shirt, with orange writing, an olive jacket with orange zippers and a black furry hat.

Clarke is believed to be driving a 2019 Nissan Maxima with tinted windows and a New York license plate JKN4415.
