Group of 8 attack, rob 15-year-old boy in Brooklyn

FORT GREENE, Brooklyn — A group of eight men beat and robbed a teenage boy in Brooklyn, police said Monday.

The 15-year-old victim was on Flatbush Avenue near the intersection with Atlantic Avenue when the men confronted him on the afternoon of Dec. 5, officials said.

One of the men demanded the teen's property and the other men punched the teen repeatedly in the face, police said. The men took the teen's phone and other electronics, worth about $700, then fled.

Police have asked for help identifying the attackers. All of them are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s.
