BUSHWICK, Brooklyn — A Brooklyn deli worker died two months after he was repeatedly stabbed on New Year's Eve, police said Monday.

Video shows Aamar Alaahri being stabbed five times in the torso inside the Yasser Deli on Central Avenue in Bushwick, according to the criminal complaint. His spleen needed to be removed after the Dec. 31 attack.

Alaahri died from his injuries on March 3.

Before his death, police had arrested Pablo Sierra, 44, on charges of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The NYPD does not believe Alaahri knew Sierra, a spokesman said. The attack may have been unprovoked.
