76-year-old Brooklyn woman missing since Sunday, suffers from dementia: officials

GREENPOINT, Brooklyn — A 76-year-old woman with dementia was reported missing to police, last seen on Sunday in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, with officials asking for the public's help in finding her.

Czeslawa Konefal, 76, was last seen Sunday at St. Stanislaou Church, located at 607 Humboldt Street in Greenpoint.

A spokesperson for Assemblyman Joseph Lentol said Konefal suffers from dementia, and her family is desperate to find her.

Konefal is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

Her family told PIX11's Greg Mocker that she goes by the name Cheshsa, and she has not gone missing before; she's spent her life in Greenpoint.
