SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn — One person is dead and another is injured after they were struck by a northbound Q train in Brooklyn Saturday night, police confirmed.
The incident took place at around 11:30 p.m. One of the victims was dead on the scene, the other was transported to a local hospital with injuries, the FDNY said.
The northbound Q line was near the Avenue U station in the Homecrest neighborhood of Brooklyn, according to the MTA>
Nortbound Q trains between Prospect Park and Stillwell Avenue were delayed due to the incident.
The victims' identities are not known at this time.
Details of how the two were struck were not immediately known.
