MORRISANIA, the Bronx — Police have made an arrest in connection to the fatal Christmas Eve robbery of a man in the Bronx.

Abu Conteh, 18, was taken into police custody and faces gang assault charges, police said.

Juan Fresnada, 60, died days after the violent robbery along Third Avenue and Boston Road in Morrisania.

Fresnada and his husband, Bayron Caceras, were approached by a group who demanded their property, authorities said.

When they refused, the suspects punched and kicked the couple and fled with $1, according to police.

Fresnada was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries on Dec. 27.
