FORDHAM HEIGHTS, the Bronx — Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot multiple times in the head and torso in the Bronx late Sunday night, the NYPD said.
According to police, around 11:30 p.m. officers discovered the 23-year-old victim wounded near East 182nd Street and Creston Avenue in the Fordham Heights section of the Bronx.
The man had been shot in the head and twice in the torso in front of an apartment building after some sort of argument, authorities said.
The victim was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The man's identity has not been released at this time, pending proper family notification.
Police said they're looking for a man wearing a red skull cap who was last seen heading north on Creston Avenue.
