CASTLE HILL, the Bronx — Police are investigating the death of a 5-month-old baby inside a Bronx public housing apartment late Friday night, according to the NYPD.
Officers who were called to the Castle Hill Houses just before midnight found the baby boy unconscious and unresponsive, police said. There were no obvious signs of trauma, according to cops.
The infant, identified as Nazair Gray, was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The city medical examiner’s office will determine Nazair’s cause of death.
