Bronx man sought after grabbing teen by neck at knifepoint: police

HIGHBRIDGE, the Bronx — A man is wanted for an assault in the Highbridge section of the Bronx last week, police said.

The report came in at 11 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9 in the vicinity of Grant Highway and West 169th Street. A 19-year-old woman was walking when approached by an unidentified man who grabbed her around the neck, displayed a knife and demanded she remain calm. The victim fell to the ground as the attacker's knife made contact with her cheek.

The man fled in an unknown direction. EMS responded and treated the victim at the scene for a minor laceration.
