MT. HOPE, the Bronx — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed in the Bronx Friday night.
Police responded to a call of a man shot near the corner of Eastburnside and Morris avenues just after 11:30 p.m.
When they arrived, police found Devon McFarlane lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot to the back.
McFarlane, who lived down the block from where he was shot, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests were made.
