ALBANY, N.Y. — Gov. Andrew Cuomo noted Saturday that 82,737 tests for COVID-19 were conducted on Friday, the highest in a single day for the state.
Of those tests, 753 were positive, or 0.91%.
State data released Saturday also show there were 581 hospitalizations on Friday and four deaths.
Cuomo urged people remain vigilant and not attend crowded parties, noting Saturday marked five months since the state's first COVID-confirmed case.
