NEW YORK — The MTA is dealing with a confirmed coronavirus case, with dozens of employees now self-quarantined, officials said.
On Monday, the MTA was notified of a positive case of COVID-19, according to Chief Safety Officer Pat Warren. The employee works at a rail crew office in Queens, Warren said.
Out of an abundance of caution — a phrase that won't be going out of style anytime soon — an additional 30 employees that worked at the Queens office were told to self-quarantine.
The building was disinfected on Monday and Tuesday.
