LONG ISLAND — When Gov. Cuomo announced the closing of all state public schools back in March, students' lives were turned upside down.

Dances, proms and spring sports were all canceled and graduation ceremonies are still on pause.

A unique issue is taking up much of school administrators' time lately, as lockers and desks are still full of personal and school issued property.

There's a complexity in terms of how to empty the high schools lockers safely during the pandemic.
