NEW YORK — Domino’s is looking to hire 2,000 people across more than 280 franchise-owned stores in the tri-state area.
The full-time and part-time positions include delivery drivers, assistant managers, managers and customer service representatives.
The hiring spree comes as all non-essential businesses in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut have been ordered to have their employees work from home as officials in all three states work to stem the spread of the coronavirus. Some restaurants and bars were forced to close in response to the new restrictions, and workers have been laid off.
“While many local, state, and federal rules are closing dine-in restaurants, the opportunity to feed our neighbors through delivery and carryout continues,” said John Hall, a local Domino’s franchise owner. “We want to make sure we’re not only providing food to people, but also delivering opportunity to those who are looking for work."
