NEW YORK — A heroic California nurse left her family to come to New York's aid at the peak of our coronavirus crisis. Now, she says the experience is helping her as cases rise in her home state.

We first met "dancing nurse" Ana Wilkinson back in May as she was gearing up to head home after her final shift at Harlem Hospital.

Now, two months later, Wilkinson told PIX11's Dan Mannarino how her time in NYC helped prepare her, both as a nurse and "emotionally," or another round of battling COVID-19 at her home hospital.
