DIX HILLS, L.I. — On Long Island Friday, one elementary school celebrated one of its own, showing love to a kindergarten student dealing with a rare disorder.

Addison Garvey, 5, was born with Moebius Syndrome, a disorder which causes facial paralysis of the muscles used for facial expression and eye movement. In recognition of Moebius Awareness Day, hundreds of students came out to support their classmate.
