NEW YORK — Author and motivational speaker Gabrielle Bernstein provides tips on how to keep yourself motivated and optimistic throughout the day.
Bernstein suggests to write in a journal each morning and answer four questions:
1. How do I want to feel today?
2. Who do I want to be today?
3. What do I want to receive today?
4. What do I want to give today?
Then make post-it notes with your new positive intentions. Take those post-its and put them on your fridge, your computer screen, or your mirror.
Remind yourself throughout the day that you can design how you want to feel.
Visualize your day going the way you want.
See yourself being inspired to work from home, or feeling empowered and safe as you go into your job. See yourself preparing a delicious meal, exercising in your living room, watching a favorite movie with your kids.
