WOODSIDE, Queens — Police are looking for a cabbie who allegedly groped an 11-year-old girl after offering her a ride early Sunday.
It happened about 4:20 a.m. near 30th Avenue and 12th Street, police said.
After leaving the 61st Street-Woodside station, the girl was on her way to her cousin’s house in Astoria when a green-taxi driver pulled up next to her and asked if she wanted a ride, according to the NYPD.
She declined but the man exited his car and allegedly groped her, touching her chest. The girl fought back then ran away and was later taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
Police sources said the victim left her Ridgewood home overnight because she was being bullied at school and wanted to be with her cousin.
A description of the attacker was not immediately released.
