Tractor-trailer with $500,000 worth of Coach bags stolen in New Jersey

NEWARK, N.J. — A tractor-trailer packed with half a million dollars worth of Coach purses was stolen from a warehouse in Newark on Friday morning, officials said.

The luxury purses were stolen from SalSon Logistics, a storage facility, around 8:30 a.m., police officials said. Four pallets of purses were in the tractor-trailer at the time of the theft.

Police are investigating the theft of the luxury handbag-filled truck, officials said. Officers have not been able to locate the bags or the tractor trailer.

Coach bags range in price from $89-$1,400 on the Coach website.
