Motorcyclist dead after hitting SUV on Grand Central Parkway: NYPD

FOREST HILLS, Queens — A man died after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a car on Grand Central Parkway Tuesday night.

28-year-old Lanze Mason was driving his motorcycle erratically and weaving in between cars when he hit the back of a Toyota SUV just east of exit 11, police said.

When police arrived, they found Mason lying on the road unconscious and unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two passengers in the SUV were both taken to the hospital with neck and back injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
