Man steals $15K of jewelry at gunpoint in Queens: NYPD

SUNNYSIDE, Queens — Police are searching for a man who allegedly held up a Queens jewelry store Friday afternoon.

According to police, the gunpoint robbery happened at A.D.L. Jewelers located at 39-38 Queens Blvd., in Sunnyside around 3:40 p.m.

The suspect allegedly walked into the store and held a gun to a store employee while demanding jewelry. The jeweler complied and the suspect made off with $15,000 in valuables.

Police have released surveillance video showing the suspect in the store.
