Experts gauge Gov. Cuomo’s decision to allow the use of medical marijuana in NY

NEW YORK (PIX11)– New York became the 23rd state in the nation to allow the use of medical marijuana on Thursday.

The legislature approved the comprehensive care act after legislative leaders reached a compromise with the governor over how the drug will be administered.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Aggarwal, co-chair of New York Physicians for Compassionate Care, Hanan Kolko, an attorney with the firm, Meyer, Suozzi, English and Klein, and Morgan Pehme, editor-in-chief of City and State gave their feedback on the new law.
