The PBA says it’s their way of giving back after the support they received after losing 37 officers on September 11th.

Tools and materials were supplied by the Stephen Siller “Tunnel to Towers” foundation.

Siller was an off-duty firefighter who strapped 60 pounds of gear to his back and ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel hoping to meet his company at the World Trade Center. He was killed at the scene.
